Eaugh....

Well, today sucks...

Just checked my e-mail to find that the video game project that I got the role for was canceled... The e-mail didn't say specifically why it had been canceled, but it did say that I among others would be contacted first about any NEW roles in the near future. Whether or not that was just to appease me and the other actors I'm not sure. *shrug*

In other news I just ordered a new microphone. A dynamic to replace my condenser. I'm hoping it comes with all its cords. x_x But, it should help take down some of the static and background noise in my sessions.

"Get It!"

Today, I got on my computer and checked my e-mails to see I had, I believe, four new ones. Two were from the Director of the game project I mentioned in my last blog. (I think) I learned I had got the part as the secondary lead role in a video game. Cha-ching! So, I'm happy. I re-recorded the parts I needed, plus the new lines. That's it for the day.

I need some money for a new microphone. (More of a note to myself than anything)

Progress

Last night I recorded auditions for about five projects on various forums. I have been casted for three or four of them. Guess I should count, right? Hehe. The project I'm most proud of is for a video game. I haven't officially got the part yet, but I did get a recall. I was one out of two others who got the recall. I saw the profiles of the two others who were recalled. One had a picture of himself as Ash, from Pokemon on it. So you know he knows his way around being a dumb ass, and knows how to voice act by association. :p He also had a list of his favorite voice actors up:
Peter Cullen, Maurice Lamarche, Tara Strong, to name a few.
So he has a knowledge of the goods I just hppe he chokes x_x Both of em'. Go back to you Pizza Hut jobs, please!

Anyway, so this agem project is this guys final project for his college days. I believe he said it was a two semester long project. It's about an heiress who's murdered and finds herself in either limbo or hell. For some reason or another (details are sketchy) she is tethered by the wrist to an intern of the Grim Reapers, a little guy named Milton. That's the character I've auditioned for. He's this short skeleton waering a blue sweater and a red winter cap, with a lil poof ontop.

Once the project is done the guy is going to submit the, either the demo or a teaser, to competitions and stuff. And it might get picked up by a larger gaming company and mass produced. So! *raises flask* Here's to hope!
